A Reading Room is a warm and friendly place where you may purchase, borrow or study Christian Science literature, utilize the study area or visit the bookstore stocked with a variety of study aids including various Bible translations, the Christian Science Quarterly containing the weekly Bible lesson, the Christian Science Monitor, as well as Mary Baker Eddy’s premier work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures — a book that has transformed the lives of millions who have ventured into its pages during the past 125 years. Based on author Mary Baker Eddy’s own insights and experiences, Science and Health will help you unlock the door to spirituality. For many, Science and Health has become a reference book for life. Our Reading Room, open Tuesdays thru Fridays from noon to 4 p.m., is located just off the church foyer. The Reading Room is a community centre for spiritual discovery and exploration. A wide variety of books, magazines and audio products on spirituality are available, including the Christian Science Monitor. You can utilize the computer to access spirituality.com a site designed to heal, inspire, and guide you on your spiritual journey, and while you’re there you can pick up a copy of the the Herald of Christian Science which is published in 13 languages, giving readers around the world practical examples of the availability and utility of the laws of God. Also available are the Christian Science Journal and Sentinel which include articles and testimonies of healing. Each issue of the Journal also includes a worldwide directory of Christian Science churches, practitioners and nurses.
