• Are available to help anyone. You do not need to be a Christian Scientist or attend church to ask them for help.
• Can answer questions about Christian Science and the benefits of this practical system of living and healing based on the Bible.
• Are lay members of this church. There is no clergy.
• May be contacted in person or by phone, email, or written correspondence. Additional services may include office visits as well as in-home or care facility visits.
• Are not counselors nor do they advise those calling upon them. They provide treatment through prayer, which strengthens an individual's understanding of his or her relationship to God.
• Are self-employed. Fees and payment are determined by the individual practitioner and should be discussed prior to engaging their services.
